Jennifer Rene Psaki

 Jennifer Rene Psaki is a American political advisor who was the 34th White House news secretary between 2021 and 221. As a member of Democratic Party, she was previously the White House deputy presses secretary (2009-2011); White House deputy communications director(2009-2011) and spokesperson for the United States Department of State (2013)-2015 and White House communications director (2015)-2017. Psaki was a political contributor to CNN from 2017 to 2020. Psaki's career began in 2001 when she worked in the reelection campaign of Tom Harkin, an Iowa Democratic candidate for the U.S. Senate. Psaki was then appointed press secretary in John Kerry's presidential election campaign. Psaki was the director of communications to Joseph Crowley in the U.S. and was the regional press secretary of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. Psaki returned in 2012 to the field of political communications serving as the press secretary of President Obama's 2012 election campaign. [20] Psaki was appointed as spokesperson for the United States Department of State on February 11, 2013. The appointment at the Department of State fueled speculation that she would succeed White House Press Secretary Jay Carney as he left for the White House. However, on May 30th in 2014 it was announced that Josh Earnest would replace Carney. She was named communications director in the White House and continued to continue to do so until the end in 2015.
