Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara OOC was born March 4, 1954. O'Hara is the proud recipient of several distinctions which include an award called the Genie Award. In 2018, she was named an Officer of Canada. In 2020, she was awarded the Governor General's Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement award. O'Hara was first noticed as an actor in the year 1974 when she was she was a part of The Second City improvisational comedy troupe in Toronto. She was a part of the principal ensemble cast of the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978) together with John Candy and Dan Aykroyd. O'Hara joined Candy on the sketch comedy series Second City Television (1976-1984). The show received the attention of critics both for her writing abilities and acting, and was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award, 1981, for Outstanding Writing for Variety Series. O'Hara was part of the new Second City artistic Advisory Board that was headed by Stephen Colbert. Other members of the board were Dwayne Colbert. Tina Fey. Keegan–Michael Key. Julia Louis-Dreyfus. Jane Lynch. Tim Meadows. Peter Murrieta. Suzy Nakamura. Sam Richardson. Jeff Richmond. Jason Sudeikis.
