The most popular of her roles are her roles in the role of Wicked Witch of the West in The Wizard of Oz and Spamalot in the West End. Her work has garnered her three Olivier Award nominations. She was in the role of Septa Unella in Game of Thrones' fifth season in 2015. In the year 2015, she also starred as an ensemble actor in Les Miserables' 2012 adaptation as well as Winter Ridge as a primary character. Waddingham is nominated for the Golden Globe Award.
